Комуникации: The Varna Region covers the north-eastern part of the country and extends to the Black Sea. The region includes 12 municipalities.
The landscape is dominated by hilly landforms. The climate is moderate continental, with Black Sea influence along the coastline. Varna is an ancient town of centuries-old traditions. Today it is a large industrial, transport and academic centre, as well as an international sea tourism centre. The towns of Beloslav, Devnya and Provadiya feature a typically industrial air, whereas Dolni Chiflik and Valchi Dol are specialized in agriculture.
