The resort of Albena is situated 32km north of Varna and just 12km south-west of Balchik on a long sand stretch in the open northern part of Varna Bay. There are plenty of tennis courts, bars, casinos, restaurants, playgrounds, swimming pools and a golf playground. The resort offers plenty of activities to the tourists. If you are a sports person you can fully enjoy windsurfing, sailing, parasailing, speed boating, scooter-driven parachuting, water skiing, horseback riding, archery, mini-golf, roller and in-line skating, bowling, tennis, bicycling, wall climbing and beach volleyball.
