The village is located 30km from Varna City Center. There are three dams in the neighbourhood, the village is the highest point in the region of Varna. This municipality has an outlet on the Black Sea - a 10km coastal strip covering the Kamchia resort complex. The fresh and clean air in places near Kamchia river are very suitable for asthma ill people.

In the village there is a post office, a nursary school (seven students from England and an English schoolteacher), a community center, regular transport,a medical point, a dentist, shops, pubs, cabel television and Internet.
