General Toshevo is a town in northeastern Bulgaria, part of Dobrich Province and part of General Toshevo municipality. The Municipality consists of 1 town (General Toshevo) and 41 villages. General Toshevo is located 50 km away of Varna – the sea capitol of Bulgaria and 45 km from the airport. The Black Sea coast is 41km away. The general city near General Toshevo is Dobrich. It is located on the main road Dobrich-Romania which makes the town a very important transportation link between both countries as it is near the Bulgarian-Romanian international border. The Municipality is environmentally clean region without industrial polluters, with a potential for development of rural tourism. Protected areas in the area of General Toshevo have been declared in the villages of Rossitsa, Loznitsa and Bezhanovo. Dabovik village was the first to start offering hunting tourism. Areas for hunting tourism and fishing have been designated around Dryan Dam Lake, which has been granted under concession, and landscaped facilities for recreation have been built, as well as sports facilities with open-air and closed grounds and equipment.

Interesting facts about this beautiful town General Toshevo is that there are different cultural and social events, many public cafes and pubs, few banks on the main street with ATM machines in front. Typically for a small town people are very friendly, eager to help and always smiling.
