The house is located in a quiet and picturesque village, located on a main road to the sea. The village lies in the centre of Dobrudja field. The distance to the sea town of Balchik is 14 km, to the well-known sea resort Albena- 22 km, to RAMA Golf course- 20 km, to Thracian cliff Golf resort 24 km, to the Varna airport- 48 km.

This is one of the villages with plenty of English families living permanently as it charms with its quiet atmosphere, fresh air, panoramic view and its proximity to the city of Dobrich and to the seaside.

The territory of the region is a unique mosaic of natural and archaeological sites of interest. It is also where one of the two major birth migration routes pass the so-called Via Pontika. Near the lakes of Shabla and Durankulak there are law-protected damp areas of international importance. These territories are the most significant winter quarters in Europe for many water birds. Kaliakra Reserve is the only one in Bulgaria, which extends over sea area.

The furthest northern riparian dense forest at the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria is located in Baltata. The Lake of Shabla is one of the biggest habitats of water lily and yellow pond-lily (Nuphar lutea) in Bulgaria.
It is the oldest lighthouse in Bulgaria, built under a French project in 1856 on the Cape of Shabla, again in that area (about 40km away).
