The village is located in North-East Bulgaria (Shumen District). It is part of Varbitsa Municipality. The complex, a wonderful combination of sun, water, mountain and tranquility. The village is situated not far away from the second biggest lake in Bulgaria - lake Ticha, at the foot of the eastern Old Mountain and its altitude is 400m. The municipal town of Varbitsa is situated 10km from the lake village. Investigations say that at the place of present-day Varbitsa town was the capital of the Slav tribes Severy in the ancient times, known as Cika town. In present-day Varbitsa ruins of sarai (kind of buildings of Geray's) can still be seen. 3km from the town Varbitsa the mountain resort Varbitsa is situated, famous of its mineral springs (healing waters) and holiday homes.
