The village is located in North-East Bulgaria. It is part of Shumen Municipality, Shumen District. The village itself is located in a beautiful rural area. Regular bus transport from the nearby relatively large city is a convenience. Dam, forest reserve zone and hunting area is nearby the village. A big dam is built on the Ticha River.
