The village is located in North-East Bulgaria (Varna District), which is part of Suvorovo Municipality. It is located 20 km west from city of Varna, only 15 minutes driving from airport Varna and 23km from the sea. The village is located in a mountain area and has plenty of rural tourism opportunities. The wine growing is developed. Public buildings and the roads have been recently renovated.

The village is very close to one of the most incredible natural phenomena in Bulgaria - "Pobiti Kamani". The natural stone pillars - some reaching 6 metres high, some up to 12 metres across at their base are known as "the petrified forest". The prevailing theory is that the "stone forest" near Varna was formed some 50 million years ago. The village has a very well developed viticulture, where soil is good and appropriate for growing a lot of agricultural plants. The village tourism is in progress.

Village is connected to the "Barite" complex (village Chernevo) via a tourist route. An orthodox temple devoted to all saints is under construction and there is an annual fair in their honour. Reconstruction of the school is being performed at the moment. It will be converted into a Cultural Club. A hotel with a restaurant is going to be built in this beautiful village.
