The town of Sozopol is situated 30km south of Bourgas, 35km from the international airport Bourgas, 430km east of the capital Sofia and 340km north of Istanbul. The houses of Dimitur Laskaridis, who used to be a fish trader, Ana Trendafilova, Kourtidis, Metropoliev (a medical centre at present), Kreanoolu, are only a few of the more than 45 architectural monuments of Sozopol.
