The town of Dalgopol (Varna District) is located in North-East Bulgaria and is center of Dulgopol Municipality (15 component settlements). It is located along the Kamchiya River at distance of 65 km southwest of city of Varna. There is evidence for the existence of the settlement in the Ottoman documents from XV and XVIIc.
