The village is located in North-East Bulgaria. It is part of Provadiya Municipality and situated off the main road to Provadiya. Due to the amenities available in the village it’s close proximity to Provadiya, Varna Airport, the city of Varna, a number of beaches and lakes and a variety of country pursuits. The climate on the territory of the Provadia municipality is temperately continental. The average annual temperature is 11.9degrees. The terrain consists mostly of plains or hills and plateaus, with an altitude up to 220 m above sea level, which in combination with the water resources (the Provadiiska river and its tributaries), the fertile black earth, grey forest soils and carbonate soils and the suitable climate favours the growing of grain and volatile-oil cultures, perennial plants and orchards.
There are a few foreign families living in the village already. It offers medical care, post office, kindergarten and a primary school, a number of food shops as well as regular bus transportation to Varna, Provadiya and the surrounding villages.
